Domo Janas Guesthouse – The historic heart of Olbia
Located in the historic centre of Olbia, Domo Janas Affittacamere welcomes its guests at the entrance to the characteristic district of Biddanoa. With its quiet streets, historic buildings and early 20th-century houses, the neighbourhood preserves a relaxed and authentic atmosphere, ideal for experiencing Olbia on foot.
The guesthouse is located at Via Alfonso Lamarmora 61, just a short walk from Corso Umberto I, the main street of the town centre, lined with cafés, restaurants, pizzerias, boutiques and all kinds of shops.
Nearby are some of the city’s most interesting landmarks: the Basilica of San Simplicio with its necropolis, the Church of San Paolo with its characteristic dome covered in colourful majolica tiles, and the Archaeological Museum of Olbia, located on Peddone Islet near the Old Port.
The museum tells the entire story of ancient Olbia and its surrounding area. Among its most interesting exhibits are the Roman and medieval shipwrecks discovered during excavations of the ancient harbour, corresponding to the present-day waterfront of the historic centre.
For those interested in history and archaeology, the historic centre also offers important remains of ancient Olbia, including the Punic walls in Via Torino, the Punic block and the remains of the Roman aqueduct in Via Nanni, all within easy walking distance.
Access by car – please note the ZTL area
The guesthouse is located in Via Lamarmora, outside the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) of Olbia’s historic centre.

continue along Via Sassari and take the first street on the right, Via Lamarmora
This is the only access route that is always open and free from ZTL gates.
Please note: some navigation systems may suggest alternative routes through the historic centre, using streets subject to ZTL restrictions.

Parking is not allowed in Via Lamarmora, except for a brief stop to unload luggage.
